一、什么是寻物启事？

寻物启事是个人或单位丢失东西，期望透过启事能够得到别人协助时，所用的一种应用文样式。这种启事有时贴在失物地点，有时贴在单位门口，有时贴在大街上，有时登在报上。

二、怎样写好寻物启事？

寻物启事，一般由三部分组成。

第一部分，标题。写法有两种：一种是只写“寻物启事”四个字;一种是把要寻找的东西的名称也写上，如“寻书启事”、“寻衣启事”。

第二部分，正文。在那里要把丢失东西的时光、地点，失物的名称、形状、质地、记号，详细、具体地写清楚。

第三部分，失主的地址、姓名或单位名称和日期。位置在正文下第三行处。如果文字多，可写成两行或三行。有的在正文里已写过，在那里再特意写清，以便拾者把东西送回来或通知失主认领。

此外，由于寻物启事是求人协助寻物的，所以行文中要有感激之意。有时，还须写清楚拾者送物往返途中的费用由失主负担之类的话。个性必要时，还要写明给拾者必要的酬金之类的资料。
